Isabela Grigoraș

Isabela Grigoraș received her PhD in Classical Philology from the University of Bucharest and the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, with a thesis on Alcuin of York’s Ars grammatica (2021). She held several prestigious fellowships, such as the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship (2017-2018) and the A.G. Leventis Foundation scholarship (2017). In 2016, she followed the courses and afterwards obtained the Diplôme Européen d’Etudes Médiévales and thus became specialized in Latin palaeography, codicology, and text editing. She was part of the researchproject ‘The Rise of an Intellectual Elite in Central Europe: University ofVienna 1389-1450’ and is currently working as part of the Patristic Commissionteam.
